New Student Orientation
Each student who has been admitted to UNT must attend a new student orientation. At orientation, you will learn more about your degree programs, understand how your courses transfer to UNT, and register for your courses in the upcoming fall/spring/summer term.

*Some graduate programs do not require their students to attend a new student orientation. If you are a post-baccalaureate student seeking a second bachelor's degree or taking prerequisites for a professional school, you are not required to attend a new student orientation. However, depending on your path, an orientation may be beneficial.

Post-Baccalaureate Student
Second Bachelor's Degree Seeking
If you plan to earn a second bachelor's degree in a health field*, your first step is to apply to UNT. You then need to complete the application form for a second bachelor's degree and return it to the Toulouse Graduate School's admissions office in the Eagle Student Services Center. As a second-bachelor's-degree-seeking student, you are not required to attend an orientation, but it is encouraged if you are new to UNT. You do need to contact the appropriate advising office for details about your degree plan and the classes for which you need to register.
*Health-related bachelor's degrees at UNT consist of the following: Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Biomedical Engineering, Information Science with a concentration in Management and Health Informatics, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, Public Health, and Rehabilitation Studies.
Graduate Non-Degree Seeking
If you are planning to take only prerequisites for professional schools**, your first step is to apply to UNT as a non-degree seeking student. As a non-degree seeking student, you may not be eligible for financial aid. Please contact the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office for more information. **Professional schools consist of the following: medical, dental, pharmacy, physician assistant, veterinary, optometry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, podiatry, nursing, etc.
