Pre-Pharmacy Accelerated Pathway

UNT has partnered with UNT Health Fort Worth to award students a Bachelor of Arts in Biology using coursework successfully completed in the first year of pharmacy school.

Benefits

• Better preparation for a rigorous pharmacy curriculum compared to only taking pharmacy prerequisites 
• Eligibility for dual degree programs at UNT Health College of Pharmacy

Eligibility

• Admission to the UNT Health College of Pharmacy 
• Successful completion of the first year of pharmacy school

Timeline

Pre-Pharmacy students on this pathway are not required to complete all UNT undergraduate coursework within a specific timeframe. However, the following timeline is designed to support students who aim to enter pharmacy school as early as possible.

Note: AP and dual credit coursework may count toward degree requirements on this pathway, potentially allowing students enter UNT Health in fewer than three years.
